What Themis does

Themis is designed to help users create, store, retrieve, organize, and work through legal content inside the app. That includes notes, outlines, drafts, research materials, citations, prompt templates, documents, AI prompts, and AI outputs.

Where supported, the product is built to support continuity across sessions or devices, along with backup and restoration functionality.

Core capabilities

  • Organize notes, outlines, citations, and draft language in one workspace
  • Store and retrieve working documents and research materials
  • Use AI-assisted features for structured drafting, issue spotting, and output generation
  • Maintain project continuity, history, and saved work inside the app

AI features

If AI features are used, prompts, documents, instructions, and related content may be transmitted through Themis systems to third-party AI providers using Themis-managed API credentials.

You do not need to provide your own API key to use supported AI features. Requests and responses may be formatted, routed, filtered, stored, and post-processed as needed to operate the product and provide app functionality.

Storage and security

Themis is designed to use database-backed storage and related systems to provide app functionality, including saving, retrieval, organization, backup, restoration, security, subscription validation, debugging, and feature delivery.

The product uses reasonable safeguards, including encrypted transmission and encrypted storage for data maintained in company-managed systems. No electronic system is completely secure.
