1. Information We Collect

Legal Notebook is designed to minimize data collection.

• User-entered case notes and content are stored locally on the user's device.
• If AI features are used, prompts may be transmitted to third-party AI providers using the user's own API key.
• AI requests may be proxied through our infrastructure for routing purposes and are automatically deleted after processing.

2. Data Storage

User data is stored locally on the device using Apple's Core Data and CloudKit services (if enabled by the user).

We do not maintain permanent logs of user prompts or responses.

3. Third-Party Services

If users choose to use AI functionality, requests may be processed by third-party providers such as OpenAI or Google Gemini, subject to their respective privacy policies.

4. No Sale of Data

Potato Studios Development LLC does not sell, rent, or trade user data.
